Barry Grider is the pulpit preacher of the Forest Hill Church of Christ. He is a native of Alabama and received his education at the University of Alabama and the Memphis School of Preaching. He served this congregation as its associate minister from 1992-1997. His first pulpit work was with the Fayette, Alabama Church of Christ. He later served in the same position with the Southwest Church of Christ in Austin, Texas. Barry returned to Forest Hill in 2000 to assume the pulpit responsibilities here.
Barry is married to the former Celicia Cason of nearby Collierville, Tennessee. They have three children, Cason, Miranda, and Vada. The Griders reside in Collierville.
Matthew is the supported evangelist for the Forest Hill congregation. He enjoys personal Bible studies and spending time working with the youth of the congregation. The three most important people in his life are his wife, Nancy, and his two daughters, Ava and Makenzie. He has spent ten of his twelve years as a Christian as a member of the Forest Hill congregation and considers this home. He has been blessed to work as a minister with the congregation for nine years.
